Training program “farmer” for practically gifted students
Our project is dedicated to promoting the inclusion of individuals with learning difficulties and disadvantages by developing a specialized training program for aspiring farmers, focusing on the practically gifted students. This program is designed with a strong practical orientation, ensuring that participants gain hands-on experience and valuable skills in agriculture.
The curriculum is tailored to provide a qualified entry into the farming profession, emphasizing ecological, social, and economic sustainability. By focusing on these key areas, we aimed to equip trainees with the knowledge and competencies needed to thrive in the agricultural sector, while also fostering a sense of environmental stewardship and community responsibility.
This initiative not only supports the personal and professional growth of individuals with learning difficulties but also contributes to a more inclusive and sustainable agricultural industry. Over the course of the project, our consortium tested the new program during one full study year. Later we decided to develop a second program, longer than the full year program to cover more in depth some topics.
